Associação Nacional de Professores

The National Association of Teachers is a professional, non-union organization of teachers of all levels and grades of education (pre-school, basic, secondary and higher education), working in the public or private sector. It was founded in 1985 and declared of Public Utility in 1991 (Official Gazette No. 228, Series II, of 03/10/1991). The National Headquarters is in Braga, and it is established throughout the national territory through regional sections, to support teachers.
